There are some great museums related to bike riding and motorcycle culture that are worth visiting while you are having a trip. You can try two or three museums every time. AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum

The Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum is an offshoot of the American Motorcyclist Association that built to honor the distinguished men and women who have contributed to motorcycle sports, motorcycle construction or motorcycling and to thank them for their competitive spirit, passion, vision and entrepreneurship. It is located east of Columbia, on the campus of the American Motorcyclist Association in Pickerington, Ohio, and is open seven days a week from 9 am – 5 am.

The Solvang Vintage Motorcycle Museum

Located in Solvang, California, this museum displays a collection of vintage and rare motorcycles as well as intriguing street machines, reaching back to the early 1900s and extends to more modern times. So, it has something for every single motorcyclce rider to visit. The museum is open Friday through Sunday, and sometimes during the week. If you want to visit during the week, it is better to take a call to check. Besides, the Solvang is also an interesting town in its own right. Located about 35 miles northwest of Santa Barbara, Solvang is a great side trip for Harley rider.

The Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum

The Rocky Mountain Motorcycle Museum and Hall of Fame boasts more than 70 original and fully restored vintage and antique Indians, Harley-Davidson, Excelsior, Ariel, Mustang, Honda, Triumph and so on. Those machines range from 1913 to 1983. Located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, this museum focuses on people who played important roles in motorcycling, with their names and faces as well as their contributions captured in photographs and biographies throughout the museum.

Wheels Through Time

located just 5 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway in Maggie Valley, North Caroline, the Wheels Through Time Museum offer a collection of more than 350 rare machines to its visitors, with 25 manufactures including Harley-Davidson, Indian, Excelsior, Henderson and the famous Flying Merkel. It is built like an old garage, which is perfect for those vintage motorcycles. For single Harley riders, it is a must-have experience if they plan to ride on the central East Coast.
